Iran tests missile systems, defying US sanctions
Iran is holding a military exercise on Saturday to test its missile and radar systems, a day after US President Donald Trump’s administration imposed sanctions on Tehran for a recent ballistic missile test. The United States sanctioned 13 individuals and 12 entities related to Iran’s missile program and Trump’s national security adviser Michael Flynn said the United States was putting Iran on notice over its “destabilizing activity”.

The IDF’s Gaza Division and the Southern Command completed their largest annual training near the Gaza Strip on Friday. According to the army, hundreds of soldiers, including reservists, participated in the five-day training. US Navy sends destroyer to Yemen
The US Navy has sent a destroyer to waters off Yemen in response to an attack by Iran-backed Houthi rebels on a Saudi frigate, a defense official said Friday. The USS Cole, which had been conducting operations in the Gulf, is now stationed in the Bab al-Mandab Strait off southwestern Yemen, the official said.
