Bennett: If Trump and Netanyahu discuss Palestinian state the ‘earth will shake’
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must give up his support for a Palestinian state in his meeting with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett and Likud activists urged him on Saturday…“If in their statements after the meeting they mention…their obligation to forming Palestine or two states…we will all feel it in our flesh for years to come,” Bennett warned. “The earth will shake. International pressure, boycotts, reports against Israel, missiles, freezes, tying the hands of our soldiers…awill continue and intensify.”
NFL players pull out of Israel trip, don’t want to be ‘used’

Nearly 100 bushfires raging in Australia’s New South Wales state
Rural areas of Australia’s New South Wales (NSW) state have been evacuated as wildfires rage across the state, threatening homes and closing roads. Some 97 fires were burning across the state, with 37 uncontained, the Rural Fire Service said. One person had been flown to hospital in Sydney after suffering burns, the authorities said.

Protesters against police violence have set a car on fire during a rally in the Paris suburb of Bobigny, which followed a police officer’s assault on a 22-year-old man. An RTL van set on fire by the protesters could be seen burning in the live footage. Dozens of young people have occupied an empty lot in Bobigny in the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis department.

Facebook must do much more to stamp out hate speech on its site, the president of Italy’s lower house of parliament said, warning that rising abuse on various social media was being fueled by fake news. Laura Boldrini, herself often the focus of sexist insults and online threats, complained to Facebook managers in November about hate speech on the social network and put forward several proposals on ways to deal with the problem.
