Teen Hacks CIA Director's AOL Account
CIA Director John Brennan used his personal AOL account to store work-related documents, a high school student who claims to have hacked them, tells The New York Post. The material included Brennan's application for top-secret security clearance, the Social Security numbers and personal data of American intelligence officials and a letter about "harsh interrogation techniques" used on terror suspects, according to the newspaper.

A Kuwaiti paper reported on Monday that a high level talk took place in the Palestinian Authority (PA) governmental seat of Ramallah, in which it was proposed that PA Security Forces be posted on the Temple Mount - the holiest site in Judaism. The covert meeting between a senior IDF source and a senior PA source in Ramallah was reported by the Kuwaiti paper Al Jarida, as cited by NRG, and was said to have taken place on Saturday.  
Run of earthquakes along east coast normal: weather bureau
A string of earthquakes that hit Taiwan's eastern coast Monday represented a normal release of energy, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said that day. Eight temblors struck the area between midnight and 3 p.m. Monday, ranging in magnitude from 3.5 to 5.2 on the Richter scale, according to bureau data.  
Earthquake hits northwest Argentina, kills one; injuries reported
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck northwest Argentina on Saturday, the US Geological Survey reported, leaving at least one person dead, injuring several more and damaging homes, according to local media. “Homes collapsed, families have been left with nothing, schools have been destroyed. We have one fatality, who was crushed,” Hector Romero, mayor of El Galpon, some 160 km from the provincial capital of Salta, told a local radio station.

China economy logs weakest growth since 2009
China's economic growth dipped below 7 percent for the first time since the global financial crisis on Monday, hurt partly by cooling investment, raising pressure on Beijing to further cut interest rates and take other measures to stoke activity. The world's second-largest economy grew 6.9 percent between July and September from a year ago, the National Bureau of Statistics said...but down from 7 percent in the previous three months.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi signaled Saturday there could be “an openness” among at least some House Democrats to voting for a Republican speaker on the floor — and she suggested the GOP turmoil could help put Democrats back in charge come 2017. “I think in our caucus there is interest and support. There’s an openness to a bipartisan approach to this,” Pelosi said in an interview at the Texas Tribune Festival.  
Israel erects wall to protect Jews in east Jerusalem
Israeli police on Sunday began erecting a wall in east Jerusalem to protect a Jewish neighbourhood subject to firebomb and stone attacks launched from an adjacent Palestinian village. The wall would effectively divide Palestinian Jabel Mukaber and Jewish Armon Hanatziv, raising criticism among the government's opposition, which considered the move a de facto division of Jerusalem.
